The English Department and International Studies Program of Bowling Green State University seeks strong applicants for a joint Instructor’s position in the English Department and the International Studies Program.  The initial appointment is for one year, renewable.

Teaching introductory courses in International Studies and in English.  Teaching special topics courses at the undergraduate level in English. 

Minimum Qualifications

1) PhD in English or related field.
2) A minimum of two years experience teaching.
3) Online teaching experience and ability.


Preferred Qualifications
1) Familiarity with issues relating to the processes and effects of globalization, including effects beyond the English-speaking regions of the world.
2) Expertise in one or more fields of literary studies.
3) A record of scholarly publication desirable but not required.
