The Department of Accounting and Information Systems invites applications for an Assistant Professor position (full-time, tenure-track) in Information Systems. Start date is August 2020.


The faculty member will join the Accounting and IS department in the College of Business where they will generally teach a 3-2 load. Primary teaching duties will include introductory IS courses as well as upper level/graduate level courses (depending on the candidate’s qualifications).  An active research agenda that can lead to scholarly publications in top-tier journals is required. All research areas and methodologies are welcome. Additional duties will include participating in department meetings and committee work as designated. Duties may also include engaging with alumni, industry professionals, recruiters, and promotion of programs.

- Ph.D. in Information Systems or Management Information Systems or a related business discipline from an AACSB accredited university
- ABD candidates will be considered but must have completed their doctorate by August 1, 2020
Preferred Qualifications (optional)
- Teaching interest/experience in cybersecurity or SAP/ERP
- Ability to develop and teach online courses
- Industry certifications
