The Department of Engineering Technologies in the College of Technology, Architecture & Applied Engineering is seeking to fill a full time, tenure track position at the rank of Assistant Professor, in the areas of Quality Systems/Systems Engineering including statistical quality control, lean systems, logistics, and systems engineering in general. 

 

- Teach and develop undergraduate and graduate level courses in Quality Systems/Systems Engineering areas 
- Conduct research that is supported by external funding
- Conduct research that leads to peer-reviewed publications in Quality Systems/Systems Engineering 
- Provide appropriate service to the department, college, university, and the profession
Minimum Qualifications
- A doctoral degree in quality engineering, industrial and systems engineering, or very closely related discipline. Individuals who reasonably expect to complete their Ph.D. before the start date of the contract will be considered.
- Evidence of undergraduate/graduate teaching in Quality Systems/Systems Engineering areas
- Evidence of peer reviewed publications in relevant areas
- Experience in online teaching  
 
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in teaching and developing undergraduate/graduate courses at the university level
- Evidence of external funding in relevant areas
- At least 2 years of industry experience in relevant areas
