The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Bowling Green State University is seeking one 9-month tenure-track faculty member at the Assistant Professor rank to contribute to the department’s forward momentum.  An individual is sought who will foster further development in educational, research, and clinical training in our undergraduate, master’s, and Ph.D. programs. Our department’s faculty members are engaged in a wide range of teaching and research activities, including doctoral mentoring, innovative pedagogies and the scholarship of teaching and learning, and national and international research collaborations. The department has ties with BGSU’s J. P. Teach undergraduate, masters, and Ph.D. courses in areas of expertise
Conduct research in areas of expertise; seek extramural funding
Participate in related service, scholarly, and/or clinical activities, as applicable 
Minimum Qualifications
Earned Ph.D. or Doctorate in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field by August 2022.  CCC-SLP and Ohio license optional. 
Demonstrated or show strong potential for developing an externally funded research program.
 
Preferred Qualifications
Area of emphasis is open, and strong candidates in all areas are welcome and encouraged to apply.  A specialization in one of the following areas is preferred, but all areas of expertise will be considered: fluency, autism spectrum disorders, and augmentative and alternative communication.
