Assistant Director of Strength and Conditioning
Athletics and Coaching

Salary commensurate with education & experience

The general purpose of this position is to design and implement strength training and conditioning programs for varsity student-athletes.



  • Design and implement strength training and conditioning programs for assigned sports.
  • Assist with workout implementation for a variety of sports.
  • Assist Director of Strength and Conditioning with all aspects of program administration.
  • Directly supervise and train interns/practicum students.
  • Coordinate training facility cleaning and maintenance of equipment.



Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree required. Successful candidate must have Bachelor’s degree conferred at the time of application.    

The following experience is required:

  • 6 months strength and conditioning experience at the collegiate level or higher or managing a fitness center used by groups and individuals.  Two years of graduate experience will be considered as one year of professional experience


Certification requirements:

  • SCCC (Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified) or C.S.C.S. Certification (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist).
  • Certification in Basic First Aid and CPR.
