TITLE: Electronic and Computer Engineering/Technology Program: Department of Engineering. Bowling Green State University.
POSITION: Full-time, tenure track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in Electronics and Computer Engineering with Robotics. Preferred starting date is August 7, 2023.
PRRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Teach and develop undergraduate and graduate level courses in ECET areas including, Digital Communication Networks, Wireless Communications, Sensors and Actuators, Embedded Systems, Industrial Automation and Programming, and courses in general engineering technology; One of the positions is expected to be a cross-appointment between the Robotics Engineering and Electronics and Computer Engineering. The successful candidate for this position is expected to teach and develop some courses in the robotics area; Conduct research that leads to peer-reviewed publications in relevant areas; Conduct research that is supported by external funding; Reach out, interact, and partner with industry; Provide appropriate service to the department, college, university, and the profession; Engage in a leadership role for the program.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A doctoral degree in electrical/electronics and/or computer engineering, or closely related discipline is required. Individuals who reasonably expect to complete their Ph.D. before the start date of the contract (August 7, 2023) will be considered. Evidence of peer-reviewed publications in relevant research areas.
