Assistant Professor - Communication Sciences & Disorders

The tenure-track position is for the rank of Assistant Professor in Communication Sciences and Disorders, speech-language pathology or speech-language science emphasis, available August 2019. This is an academic year (nine-month) appointment with possible summer employment, if desired. Area of emphasis is open, and strong candidates in all areas are welcome and encouraged to apply.  Some examples of specialties include, but are not limited to: fluency, medical speech-language pathology, neurogenic speech and language disorders, speech science, augmentative and alternative communication, speech sound disorders, and/or related areas. 

- Teach undergraduate, master’s, and Ph.D. courses in areas of expertise 
- Conduct research in areas of expertise
- Seek extramural funding; participate in related service, scholarly, and/or clinical activities, as applicable. 

- Earned Doctorate in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field by August 2019. 
- CCC-SLP and Ohio license (or eligible) preferred.
- Successful applicants must either have demonstrated or show potential for developing an externally funded research program evidenced by a track record of securing competitive extramural research funding, or successfully publishing in the peer reviewed academic literature.
